As a photographer, I know we all have our bucket list of dream locations and sessions to photograph. I have many myself, but one of them was simply to photograph a girl in a beautiful, flowy dress together with a horse. I had never had the opportunity to work with a horse before, but I think they are so elegant and majestic and they are definitely one of my favourite animals.
Well it turns out, dreams DO come true, and I was so excited when I saw that Makayla was looking for exactly that! Not only did she have the most beautiful horse named Remmy, but she also had the perfect dress AND this spot on her farm with the most amazing view of the South Saskatchewan River flowing through the coulees! I couldn’t think of a more perfect Alberta setting for this session, and we were blessed with the most amazing sunset light beaming over the horizon. Makayla is such a beautiful woman inside and out and I had a lot of fun getting to know her. She’s also getting into modelling which she clearly has a natural talent for, so make sure you hit her up if you’re a photographer in need of a model!
First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior
to writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting
my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just
seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!
Thank you so much! I have the same struggle with starting off when writing, but it can help to write down a few main points first to get your mind on track!
