Creative Bridal Boudoir Session | Medicine Hat

August 20, 2018

As you probably know, I’ve had to absolute joy of working with Jordan a couple of times already. And every single time, it just keeps getting better! It is so much fun working with a fellow creative who is down to try anything, and even has a few ideas of her own! I love how well her hair brought out the orange tones in the floor, and her tattoos always add such a wonderful pop of colour. Plus it’s always fun to see what new ink she’s gotten! I don’t have any tattoos myself at the moment, but I’ve always admired those who do. If only I could get over my fear of needles!

This set was a surprise for her now husband on their wedding day, and while it’s always hard to keep a secret we pulled it off! When it was time for me to take some photos of the boys getting ready the morning of the wedding I handed him the gift box and eagerly awaited his reaction, which of course Jordan had asked me to capture. It’s safe to say that he was totally (and happily) surprised!!

During bridal boudoir sessions I often ask the bride-to-be what items she would like to incorporate from the wedding day, and for this shoot we included her gorgeous lace birdcage veil, pearl necklace, garter and the stunning bouquet which she made herself! Of course in order to do this she used fake flowers, but I’d love to know her secret because you definitely can’t tell from these photos!

Jordan you are absolutely stunning and so much fun to work with! Thank you so much for trusting me with so many important moments in your life, and I cannot wait for your next great idea!
